Google AI Essentials
New to AI? Learn the fundamentals of generative AI. You’ll gain hands-on experience using AI tools to develop new ideas, create content, and speed up daily work tasks.
Module 1 • One Hour
In this module, you’ll discover how AI works, explore foundational AI concepts like machine learning (ML) and learn about the rise of generative AI. By the end of this module, you’ll have an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of AI tools and how to use generative AI in the workplace.
Module 2 • Two Hours
In this module, you’ll learn how to use generative AI tools to address common workplace challenges and examine the important role humans play in the effective use of AI. By the end of this module, you will be able to determine if AI is appropriate for a given task and use AI to accelerate workflows.
Module 3 • Two Hours
In this module, you’ll understand how generative AI tools produce output and learn how to use prompting techniques, such as few-shot prompting, to write effective prompts and get the output you want. By the end of this module, you will be able to write clear and specific prompts and produce and evaluate outputs that help accomplish workplace tasks.
Module 4 • One Hour
In this module, you’ll learn how to recognize the potential security risks of using AI in the workplace by applying an AI harms framework to workplace scenarios. By the end of this module, you will understand how to use AI responsibly and effectively by mitigating unfair biases and inaccuracies.
Module 5 • Two Hours
In this module, you’ll learn about the ways organizations have leveraged AI and consider how these innovations may inspire your own AI-powered workplace solutions. By the end of this module, you will develop a strategy to stay up-to-date with future AI developments.
Google Agile Essentials
Learn the basics of Agile project management and best practices to help you prioritize tasks, adapt to changes, and bring greater structure to your projects.
Module 1 • Two Hours
You'll learn to confidently guide your team or organization through a shift to Agile. By the end of the module, you will be able to explain the Agile project management approach and philosophy, including values and principles; describe the history and motivation behind the emergence of Agile; and differentiate Agile frameworks and explain when and why to blend approaches.
Module 2 • Two Hours
You'll learn how to build high performing Scrum teams through improved collaboration and communication and increase project efficiency and organization to drive business outcomes. By the end of the module, you will be able to explain the pillars of Scrum and how they support Scrum values and discuss the origins of Scrum and the basics of Scrum theory.
Module 3 • Two Hours
You'll learn how to develop tools and artifacts such as product backlogs, sprint plans, sprint backlogs and retrospectives. You will be able to describe the five important Scrum events and how to set up each event for a Scrum Team. Gain the knowledge to apply communication tools to help plan and visualize Sprint workflow and progress. By the end of the module you will be able to perform Product Backlog refinement by relative effort estimation, determining acceptance criteria, and prioritization.
